Hello Everyone! 

     My name is Danielle Smith and I have been a Kindermusik educator since July 2005.  While attending college at the University of North Texas, I had some interest in elementary music education, but I focused mainly on my instrumental work on the trumpet.  Little did I know that my interest in children’s music would be renewed in just a matter of years!  

     After receiving my teaching degree, I accepted a job as an assistant band director teaching high school band in Copperas Cove, Texas in July 2001.  In my fourth year of directing bands, my husband and I decided to start a family.  I knew that I needed a job with more flexible hours that would give me time to spend with my new daughter, Erin.  That’s when a friend of mine told me about Kindermusik.  I was so impressed with the Kindermusik program, I knew that I was about to renew my interest in music for younger children.  I am now a licensed Kindermusik educator and can confidently say that Kindermusik has been the perfect fit!  I get to spend time with my daughter, and I love the rewarding experience of teaching Kindermusik! 

*There has been a new addition to our family!  Our son, Jack, was born in March 2009 and has been a blessing!
